We have the most darling project to share with you today! One of our favorite tricks when having little ones over is to fill a basket with things from around the house for them to play with and explore. In the Montessori tradition it’s called a treasure basket.
I thought it would be sweet to make one for my friend’s baby with the lux Organic cotton cord http://www.ribbonjar.com/product_p/16590.htm.
Bonus, my friend lives in Canada and this makes for a light, easy to fold and pack basket. As you can see baby E loved his little basket. And I loved making this gift. I’m glad I sprung for the organic cotton, as you can see baby E loves to put things in his mouth. This basket took 33 yards of cotton cord. I’m going to make more of these for future baby showers for sure.
